Social Media Tools: Tweetdeck #fail

I’ve been at a loss looking for "best" environment that can manage my social media interaction, all under one "roof". I know what you are thinking, its never that easy I know... but i had to try. There are options for pushing/broadcasting messages - Ping.Fm was my first love BUT it lacks the ability to monitor. If you are engaged in social media either as a Dabbler, conversationalist or Brand Management it would serve your interest  to have monitoring module/tool allowing you to watch what others are doing.
My inspiration for this post lies squarely on the failure of one such tool, yeeees you guessed it TweetDeck with its constant error messages arrrggghhh. - Sanity now
If you share these views feel free to rant.

Facebook and Twitter Integration
Globally the two-most active social media channels are Twitter and Facebook, so I looked for a way where I can stay in touch with my friends and network, by monitoring conversations and tweeting in real-time.

TweetDeck, until recently (2days ago) it was my preferred tool until its performance started to failed me many times.  TweetDeck, (desktop version) often has memory-leak issues. Its strength lies in its convenience and its monitoring tools. Integration with Twitter and Facebook, allowing me to monitor every feed flow through a single application was exactly what I needed. Now, I don’t know what could be the root of the problem, but I just don’t get why it will not retweet or at times simply doesnt load my updates.
So in my wisdom i thought the web equivalent would be a solution - Noooot. Hence I tried ChromeDeck,  integration of TweetDeck in Google’s Chrome web browser. No satisfaction for me. I found out that its cut from the same cloth or rag. I feel the ChromeDeck is eye-candy but loads in a very visually unpalatable manner, borrow from Yoono on UI.

I moved on, after much thought to HootSuite, trying to make myself get accustomed to it. What I liked the most, is the easy-share Launch HootSuite button right next to the address bar - interface thumbs up. This made it possible to share news or article was reading in a convenient way.
I think everyone would agree, that when you have get use to something, you’ll see everything else with at least one lack point or disadvantages. Don’t you?
Well, to be honest, I miss the New Retweet brought by Twitter. In TweetDeck and UberTwitter, I can choose which method I will use everytime I tweet something. But in HootSuite, all I get is the Original Retweet feature, which becomes a pain with twitter 140 characters limitation. They do provide an option in the setting screen for using the New Retweet method, but it doesn’t help users to easily choose which to use. Arent there times when you just want to RT without adding anything and other times you feel like the opposite? If thats true then this aint your tool of choice.
Now am at the cross roads with which tool to use, I handle several brands digitally and still have not found the "perfect tool". I guess I will have to stick to the Deck for now..... If you have any ideas please do share.

Notable Social Media Engagement Tools?

Social Media Engagement  tools are communication platforms where users take action and can respond, engage, interact or communicate directly on social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, blogs, forums, and more.  Users provide the login credentials and offer  OAuth  permissions and can Tweet, comment on a blog post or respond to a question in a forum without leaving the Social Media Engagement platform. These are highly customized dashboards where you can interact real-time and often offer multiple accounts, a shared workspace for many users and the ability to respond in multiple places with one click.  Don’t mistake these for Social Media Management tools, which are used to  primarily analyze activity .  Social Media Engagement tools are beneficial for anyone who wants to save time, stay organized, or especially has multiple accounts to manage.

Heres Why I Left and Am Never Coming Back !! - Lets Talk Websites Part 1

I’ve been thinking about this and realized that there are many more negative factors than I’d originally anticipated but I will keep them to 7 only. Reasons why I have yet to go back to some websites that I hoped would give me what I needed. Let’s start with the truly horrific… 1. Slow load times. Don’t make me wait! I pay a premium for my broadband connection and I’ll be damned if your slow-*** pages are going to cause trouble for me. 2. Autosound. This drives me nuts. When I visit a website and am instantly bombarded with an unwanted cacophony of nasty sound I tend to leave with immediate effect. I have other places I can listen to music from before its Christmas. 3. Prioritization of ads vs content. This is the evil twin of slow load times. Some publishers prioritize ads over content (load the ads first and bank the ad money $$$). Some navigation may quickly appear before the whole thing grinds to a halt while we wait for an ad server to kick into life. 4. Browser issues...
